The TriDoD gathered at Little Switzerland again on May 5-7, 2000. I joined in the fun, riding about 1150 miles all told. I took the Ducati, and traipsed about wildly on backroads once in the mountains. The weather was damn near perfect every day -- lows in the mid fifties, highs in the eighties. TriDoD are a terrific bunch, and much fun was had. In time I'll add some identifying stuff for each image.
Friday was about 475 miles -- all to get out there. I took a few shots of the Ducati on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and at dinner that night burned a few shots as well.
Saturday, Martyn Wheeler, Sharon Wheeler, Jim Kerick, Lisa Louque, and i rode down to the Ducati/Enfield/Triumph/etc. dealer in Asheville. Afterwards, Martyn's, Jim, and I flogged the bikes back by way of backroads, doing about 100 miles or so. Then, we all gathered for dinner, Mike Ragsdale's surprise birthday party, and a big group photo. We then sat about, drank beer, and gabbed.
Sunday morning began with a quick ride to Famous Louisa's up at Linville for breakfast. TriDoDer's trooped in and out over the course of breakfast, chatting and dining. I rolled out by about 0930, and headed home.
FYI, the car is a 1965 Morgan, recently restored. TriDoDers -- if you want a print of any of the images, please let me know. Enjoy...
